So, you are headed to the Photobooth Expo – the go-to event for those passionate about starting or growing their phtobooth business. This guide is designed to help you maximize your experience at the expo and ensure you don’t miss any essential events.
While I (Sky) might not me the most seasoned expert about PBX, I know I like going into things prepared and knowing what I can expect. So grab a drink and lets dive in.
At the bottom of this post you can find a list of hot links: hotel restaurants, expo floor map, speaker line up, etc.
The Photobooth Expo is hosted at the South Point Hotel. The address may be on Las Vegas Blvd, but the hotel is about 6 miles south of the iconic Las Vegas strip. I highly recommend calling an Uber if you decide to head out “downtown.”
If you havent yet, save 20% by booking with this link. For Sunday-Thursday, the room ends up being about $450 USD.
An airport shuttle is provided by the hotel from Harry Reid International (previously McCarran Airport), you can check out times here.
My favorite part of any vacation work trip.
Within the South Point Hotel, check out the Don Vito’s Italian or the Steak ‘n Shake for a quick bite. If you’re looking for a broader culinary experience, a short trip to the Strip offers and endless amount of options. If you’re a foodie, I highly recommend venturing out because Vegas will not disappoint you.
Honorable mention to the Coronado Cafe: closest to the expo floor, you are guaranteed to see a group of photobooth owners sitting down for a bite at any time of day (or night).
& you can probably find me drinking a marg at Baja Miguel’s Mexican. Located on the second floor.
Here is a full list of dining at the South Point.
Monday February 19th -22nd.
The expo kicks off Monday at 12pm with Catalina Bloch of Photobooth Mastery + MDRN Photobooth.

**Hot Tip: There is so much going on, I recommending adding the top seminars you want to drop into on to your calendar so you don’t miss them.
See whats trending in the industry, test new products and software IRL, and stock up on your fav props and backdrops with stellar floor sales. Here is a link to the map of vendors.

You can see the whole list here.
Hear from Catalina Bloch, Steve Blisner, Ursula McKinley, Bill Vahrencamp, and so many more!
This is my own hot tip, always go into these events with a goal (or goals) in mind. There are so many moving parts, and its easy to get overwhelmed.
Whether its learning and taking as many notes as possible, testing all the software IRL to see what to add to your skill set next, or meeting some boothers and building a community of people you can lean in on the space.
I have a list of my must see exhibitors on the expo floor, 3 presentation I want to hit on the main stage, and ill be spending a lot of time working the expo floor (you can pop in at see my at pbsco’s + The Everybooth Stands over the course of the week
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening there is am “After Party” in the South Point Showroom. This is away from conference hall that all the other PBX acivities are, and located by the casino!
