We’ve all heard this before… You have to be active on social media if you want to grow your business. 

But how are you supposed to do that, plus work your regular job, plus be a parent, and do all-the-things? It feels IMPOSSIBLE. 

My name is Nicole, I own a photo booth business based out of Florida called Own the Moment Booth. That feeling that I just mentioned, that’s exactly how I felt one year ago. I was growing my photo booth business, homeschooling my son, and navigating it all as a solo parent. It felt like so much pressure to juggle it all. And it was! The LAST thing I wanted to do was create content every day to keep up with that ever elusive algorithm. 

That all changed when one day I came across the concept of having a static social media grid. If you have no idea what that means, don’t worry, I had no idea what it meant either. To put it simply, it’s when you post on Instagram very intentionally without needing to update it daily, weekly, or even monthly. As an avid social media consumer my brain almost exploded. But then I got to thinking… 

Is it possible that we as photo booth business owners have been using social media wrong this whole time? Instead of chasing virality, what if we used Instagram to find our ideal clients and actually convert them into customers? What if our Instagram feed could reflect our business and function as a mini-website for our clients? What if we could use our social media platform as a portfolio of our work? What if I didn’t have that pressure of constantly posting to make the algorithm happy, but instead posted and shared when I wanted to because my feed could do all the talking for me? 

I… WAS… SOLD. And thus began my journey to creating my very first custom Instagram Puzzle Grid for my business.
